Formalising registration
Procedure:
The process for students who start their university studies at UCV should be carried out in accordance with the procedure and documentation outlined HERE. The period for formalizing registration shall be that indicated annually by the University for this purpose.
The process of enrolment of students from the second year is done by academic year, establishing a single registration period, both first and second semester, within the period indicated annually by the University.
The order of enrolment of students, for the purpose of choosing subjects, will be carried out according to the academic performance of the same during the previous course, according to weighted average grade obtained until the June/July calls.
Enrolment extension:
Any UCV student, once enrolled, can apply for an extension of their enrolment, as long as they request it through their intranet via virtual instance within the following period:
- First semester: September 15th-30th
- Second semester: February 1st-28th
At the end of these periods it will not be possible to formalize tuition expansions.

Application for credit recognition
Undergraduate and Official Postgraduate Students:
Students admitted to the UCV may apply for recognition of credits from this or another University.
Recognition of credits means the acceptance by the University of the credits which, having been obtained in official teachings, at this or another University, are counted for the purpose of obtaining an official degree.
The application for recognition must be submitted in a single act on the occasion of the formalization of the student's first enrolment at this University. It shall include all prior official studies for which recognition is intended, regardless of the course to which they correspond.
Once the application has been formalized, it will be forwarded to an Academic Commission of Titles (ACT) for evaluation and subsequent resolution.
Procedure:
The application for recognition of credits, in general, will be submitted to the Secretariat of the Faculty where the student completes the chosen studies, along with the following documentation:
In the event that the required documentation cannot be delivered at that time, the student will have until October 30 of the current year for submission. After this period, the application for recognition will be rejected.
Vocational training students:
Students admitted to the UCV and who come from Vocational Training may apply for recognition of such studies by university credit.
The application for recognition must be submitted in a single act on the occasion of the formalization of the student's first enrolment at this University. It shall include all previous studies for which recognition is intended, and the application shall be forwarded to an Academic Commission of Titles (ACT) for evaluation and subsequent resolution.
The application for recognition of credits will be submitted to the Secretariat of the Faculty where the student completes the chosen studies, along with the following documentation:
- Official certificate of notes of the formative cycle.
In the event that the required documentation cannot be delivered at that time, the student will have until October 30th of the current year for submission. After this period, the application for recognition will be rejected.
Recognition for work experience:
Students admitted to the UCV who have extensive professional experience in a given sector may apply for recognition of this experience by university credits. Under no circumstances may more than 15% of the appropriations constituting the curriculum be recognised through this modality.
The application for recognition must be submitted in a single act on the occasion of the formalization of the student's first enrolment at this University, and shall be forwarded to an Academic Commission of Degrees (ACT) for evaluation and subsequent resolution.
The application for recognition of credits will be submitted to the Secretariat of the Faculty where the student completes the chosen studies, along with the following documentation:
- Curriculum Vitae
- Certificate of working life
- Certificate of the company detailing the functions performed
In the event that the required documentation cannot be delivered at that time, the student will have until October 30 of the current year for submission. After this period, the application for recognition will be rejected.
Students with other studies:
In case of requesting recognition for other acquired knowledge (Own Titles, Foreign Qualifications, access to official master's degree) consult in the Academic Secretariat of the Faculty.

Discounts
The UCV, following its social commitment to certain groups, offers an important list of applicable discounts on registration, which are determined HERE.
Any student who meets the requirements and conditions required for each of them, may request, within the established deadlines, the discount on the tuition by presenting a virtual instance through "intranet", or by sending an email to descuentos@ucv.es, attached the necessary documentation for this purpose, in accordance with the following table:
